Sue Simmons
Sue Simmons (born May 27, 1943) has been the lead female anchor at WNBC-TV in New York since 1980. A native New Yorker, she has been co-anchor for Live at Five with several co-anchors, including Jack Cafferty, Tony Guida, Matt Lauer, Dean Shepard, Jim Rosenfield, and Perri Peltz, and 11PM weeknight anchor with Chuck Scarborough. Before she joined NewsChannel 4, she was with WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.from 1976 to 1980, where she co-anchored with Jim Vance. Prior to her arrival at WRC, she was with WBAL-TV in Baltimore from 1974 to 1976. There she was an anchor for the station's Action News broadcast and the "Baltimore At One".
